Sample Synastry Report – Marilyn Monroe and Joe DiMaggio

image

This is a computer interpretation of the astrological synastry (compatibility) of Marilyn Monroe and Joe DiMaggio. I did not write this myself, it is a computer interpretation from my astrology software, which I’m allowed to reprint. If you know anything about their relationship, you will see how the dynamics of it can be explained using astrology, a with any other relationship. As you can see just from this report, astrology is MUCH more complicated than sun signs, and is even much more complicated than what a lengthy report like this can reveal. You can order your own Synastry chart interpretation through my Booking a Reading page.

Part One — Planets and Aspects

Each of us has every planet in his or her chart. Each planet symbolizes a different facet of life. In synastry, when we compare two charts, we look at the aspects (distance in degrees) between the planets of one chart and the planets of the other to determine areas of potential ease or difficulty. In general, sextiles and trines are easy aspects; squares and oppositions are challenging or dynamic aspects. Conjunctions can be either easy or difficult, depending on the planets involved.

Below, a brief (necessarily incomplete) description of the areas of life ruled by each of the planets: SUN: The life force, the ego center, who you are at your core. MOON: Feelings, home, mother, family, sensitivity, nurturing, moods. MERCURY: Communication, schooling, short trips, negotiations, the mind. VENUS: Emotions, asthetic and artistic sense, what you have to offer a lover or partner if you’re a woman; what you want in a partner if you’re a man. MARS: Aggression, desires, competitiveness, ego drive, conflict, what you bring to a relationship if you’re a man; what you want if you’re a woman. JUPITER: Expansion, generosity, travel, optimism, knowledge, beliefs. SATURN: Restrictions, discipline, fear, burdens, status, ambition, authority. URANUS: Innovativeness, quirkiness, rebelliousness. NEPTUNE: Dreams, illusions, drugs, deception, spirituality. PLUTO: Death and regeneration, elimination, tumultuous change, power.

Common Aspects

Sun opposite Sun
With this aspect between your charts, you are in opposite signs and are symbolically a perfect match, like heads and tails, black and white, day and night. Each of your suns falls into the other’s solar seventh house, the natural house of partnership. But, while opposites do attract, they can also produce friction (although sometimes that friction can keep the attraction lively). Both the strength and the challenge of this pairing is in that natural opposition; as the two of you will often approach the same situations from opposite directions. But there can be a great deal of similarity too, just as there is an intrinsic similarity in the opposition between the aforementioned heads and tails. So, while you may not always agree, you are likely to be concerned about the same issues. And your opposing approaches to solutions can help both of you gain perspective and broaden your points of view.

Sun trine Uranus
Usually this trine indicates an exciting, electric attraction. There’s probably something about this relationship that is somewhat unusual or eccentric, but that very difference could be the glue that cements it. You may have fallen in love across a crowded room, or there may have been some other type of dazzling or surpising event that brought you together. Relationships with this trine work best when you are able to give each other a lot of freedom and you each respect the other’s boundaries and individuality.

Moon square Mercury
This square can indicate an occasional clash between the intellectual, rational and other mental doings of the Mercury person and the emotional life of the Moon person. The Moon person may sometimes feel the Mercury person is shallow, unfeeling or overly critical. The Mercury person may feel smothered by the Moon person’s tendency to emotionalize situations. You each may have difficulty understanding the other’s approach to domestic issues. There’s also a tendency with this aspect to nitpick at each other or get overly emotional about insignificant comments or events.

Joe DiMaggio’s Planets Aspecting Marilyn Monroe’s Planets

Sun opposite Mercury
As the Mercury person’s mind is working in a way that can be the polar opposite of how the Sun person’s ego needs to deal with mental processes, there is likely to be an occasional clash of ideas in this relationship. However, as you are really just approaching the same situations from opposite perspectives, you are likely just as often to meet in the middle, with the added benefit that each of you can open the other’s mind to a broader viewpoint. The best manifestation of this aspect occurs when each of you learns to accept the validity of the other’s approach, without necessarily adopting it. In that instance, you can aid each other in gaining greater awareness and objectivity.

Sun square Jupiter
You are likely to be generous to each other and to give each other the benefit of the doubt whenever possible. However, you may also give each other too much rope and encourage each other to excesses and over-optimism. While not an indication of great practicality, this drawback is more than compensated for by the geniality this square produces.

Moon conjunct Mars
This is often a difficult aspect to have in a synastry comparison, as the Moon and Mars operate in generally incompatible ways. The Moon person may be easily wounded by what the Mars person does and says, and the Mars person is likely to be easily irritated by the Moon person’s moods and demands. All that being said, this aspect has its good points too. It’s usually an indication of sexual attraction — although this does not promise any tenderness in the relationship; that will have to be indicated by other factors. The sexual tension can make for passionate moments; but to get there, you may have to walk gingerly through an emotional minefield.

Moon trine Saturn
This is a good comparative aspect to have in any chart between two people who hope for a long-term relationship as it shows emotional stability and security in the pairing. This is likely to be a serious relationship where each of you feels responsibility and loyalty toward the other. It tends to add practicality to any relationship and makes it easier to accept the obligations of commitment.

Moon trine Pluto
Because Pluto spends so much time in each sign, this trine is more significant as an indicator of the Moon person’s response to an entire generation than as an indication of one-to-one relationship traits. If the aspect is within a degree or so of exact, this is likely to be an intensely emotional relationship that answers deep needs within each partner’s psyche. There may be elements that either make you feel destined to be together or may make you feel a somewhat compulsive need for each other .

Mercury trine Mars
Generally speaking, this trine indicates an intellectually stimulating relationship. The Mars person can encourage the Mercury person to think more courageously and to act on his or her ideas. The Mercury person can help the Mars person formulate better plans for action. You can each inspire the other to have the courage to speak up and be more assertive. You may enjoy playing competitive games together, especially those that require both physical and strategic skills.

Mercury trine Pluto
Because Pluto spends so many years in each sign, this trine is more significant as an indicator of the Mercury person’s response to an entire generation than as an indication of one-to-one relationship traits. If the aspect is within a degree or so of exact, you are likely to inspire each other to look for the hidden meanings in life and/or to explore deep subjects together, such as psychology or the occult.

Mercury opposite Midheaven
This works more like a conjunction than an opposition, linking the Mercury person with the Midheaven person’s fourth house, the house that signifies the home. There is likely to be a good deal of communication between the two of you regarding domestic affairs, in which the Mercury person ideas may dominate. The Mercury person is likely to encourage the Midheaven person to share his/her thoughts regarding emotions and family; the Midheaven person can provide a comfortable situation in which the Mercury person can study, think and pursue intellectual or communications activities.

Venus trine Uranus
There’s likely to be something unusual or different about this relationship, but that probably tends to make it exciting. Magnetic sexual attractions are the rule with this comparative aspect, especially if the trine is within a degree or so of exact. The Uranus person, especially, may feel drawn to the Venus person like a moth to a flame. You are both likely to encourage each other to experiment more, and you may find that you are more adventurous together, in bed and out.

Jupiter square Saturn
There may be a tendency to clash at times over the Jupiter person’s need to expand and cover a lot of territory, and the Saturn person’s need to contract, and to secure a safe, limited area. The Jupiter person’s optimism is likely to be stirred up at about the same time as the Saturn person’s pessimism, making this a push-pull kind of situation that can occasionally cause frustration.

Jupiter opposite Neptune
Because Neptune spends so many years in each sign, everyone born within a few years of each other will have Neptune in more or less the same position. This opposition is therefore more significant as an indication of the Jupiter person’s response to an entire generation than as a trait in a one-to-one personal relationship. If the aspect is within a degree or so of exact, it can indicate a generous, tolerant and caring relationship with each of you intellectually willing to accept the other (although, you may idealize each other to the point that what you accept may not be quite what is there). You are not likely to be particularly organized, efficient or productive with or around one another unless there are other stronger aspects that contradict this one.

Jupiter opposite Ascendant
Rather than an opposition, this aspect works like a conjunction of Jupiter with the Ascendant person’s seventh house cusp, the house of partners and important relationships. With Jupiter shining its benevolent glow in this area of the chart, there is likely to be much harmony between you, along with good will and mutual respect. You are likely to be generous toward one another, although you may sometimes promise more than you can deliver or expect more than is reasonable. But all in all, you will probably be tolerant of each other’s minor flaws, indulgent of each other’s hopes and ideas, and able to give each other enough room to enjoy life as partners and individuals.

Saturn square Uranus
There is likely to be an occasional clash between you about the issues of responsibility and personal freedom. Each of you is likely to bring out conflicting traits in the other. The Saturn person may feel that the Uranus person is undisciplined, unreliable and threatens his or her security; the Uranus person may feel tied down, restricted and put upon by the Saturn person.

Uranus opposite Ascendant
Think of this as a conjunction between the Ascendant person’s seventh house cusp — the house of marriage and other partnerships– and Uranus, rather than as a true opposition. This is likely to be an unusual relationship in some way. From the world’s point of view, you two may appear an unlikely match, but if you enjoy each other’s differences you may be able to make it work. The relationship is likely to be subject to many ups and downs, and unexpected events. It may have begun quite suddenly — and has the potential to end just as suddenly, although you shouldn’t set off expecting that this will happen. It would take more than one aspect to cause this. The key to success here will be to give each other plenty of freedom. Also — be prepared to roll with the punches, because you never know what might occur with Uranus in such a prominent spot.

Marilyn Monroe’s Planets Aspecting Joe DiMaggio’s Planets

Sun square Moon
While this can be a problematic combination, it also seems to produce attraction, as it is one of the more common aspects between couples. There may be clashes between the Sun person’s need to assert his or her ego and the Moon person’s emotional needs. There is also the potential for one of you to dominate and overshadow the other; often, but not necessarily, the Sun person. However, when the attraction is strong enough — which it often is with this aspect — people usually learn to get past the potential for misunderstanding and grow as individuals and as a couple through dealing with the challenges posed by this square.

Sun opposite Venus
Often an indication of romantic attraction, this aspect is considered especially potent if the Sun person is male and the Venus person female (the reverse is still plenty potent , however). This relationship may broaden your horizons as you introduce each other to art, entertainment, music and social activities that may in ways be opposite to what the other is used to, but pleasant nevertheless. There are a few potential negatives, although these are generally not particularly upsetting. The Sun person may occasionally feel that the Venus person is overly emotional; and the Venus person may sometimes view the Sun person as somewhat arrogant and domineering.

Sun opposite Mars
Do you find yourselves playing the one-upmanship game with each other just a bit more often than you do with other people? It’s not surprising with this aspect in your synastry comparison. There is likely to be a good deal of competitiveness, challenge and conflict when Mars opposes the Sun. Each of you may try to take charge of the relationship and may resent the other’s demands. You may take offense at little things that were meant in the most benign way because you automatically anticipate challenges from each other. But this combination doesn’t have to be all arm wrestling and defensiveness. You can, if the two of you are mature and grounded, turn the energy between you into a positive cooperative force — and learn a great deal from each other in the process. The trick here is to accept that there is no right or wrong way, just your way and my way, and depending on the situation, one or the other mode of operation may work better .

Sun trine Jupiter
This trine is one of the most harmonious aspects and shows great benevolence between the two people involved. You are likely to be generous to each other, and to be able to forgive and forget, when necessary, as you would with virtually no one else. You’re also likely to help keep each other’s spirits high. While you can encourage each other and support each other, you may be unwilling to acknowledge or deal with negative issues when they come up, which is the only real down side of this aspect.

Sun opposite Ascendant
This is one of the better indications of a romantic attraction, as it puts the Sun person into the Ascendant person’s seventh house, the house of relationships. Each of you should be able to open up the other’s point of view and to balance each other in a typical yin/yang sense. There is some potential for clashes, as with all opposites — male/female, heads/tails, black/white — but mostly this aspect shows that each can, hopefully, be the other’s better half and can provide objectivity and perspective when needed.

Moon conjunct Jupiter
This tends to be a harmonious feel-good combination that makes both of you see the bright side of your relationship and of life in general when you’re together. Each of you tends to be willing to provide the other with emotional support when needed. The only down side here is that the Moon person may be a bit too clingy for Jupiter person.

Mercury opposite Venus
While there may be some differences in the way you each approach finance, study, communication and entertainment, you will probably be able to find a middle ground that is acceptable to you both . The Mercury person may occasionally seem insensitive or overly concerned with the rational aspects of life to the Venus person while the Venus person may occasionally come across to the Mercury person as self-indulgent or overly emotional. Nevertheless, this aspect is not potent enough, in itself, to cause real problems between you.

Mercury opposite Mars
If you enjoy debating, this is an ideal aspect to have in your synastry comparison. Otherwise, it can be a bit irritating. The opposition of Mercury and Mars usually signifies two people who tend to argue with each other a lot. There can be disagreements about trivial matters, and very little patience with each other’s actions and/or point of view. On the positive side, you can keep each other stimulated intellectually. Just try to control the desire to contradict each other when there isn’t anything important at stake and stifle the urge to wound with cutting remarks that you may regret later.

Mercury trine Uranus
This trine tends to bring about intellectually stimulating relationships. The Uranus person can help the Mercury person expand his or her ideas and think in new ways. The Mercury person can help the Uranus person deal with the details so that inspiration can find practical application . If either of you is working on a project that requires innovation, the other can be a great help in actualizing the result.

Mercury opposite Ascendant
There is likely to be a lot of communication in this relationship about the relationship itself as well as a good deal of analyzing, especially by the Mercury person. It’s likely that you will share ideas and interests and make good traveling companions. As Mercury is a neutral planet, this aspect does not, in itself, indicate attraction. It may show, however, that the Mercury person brings to the relationship the kind of intellect that the Ascendant person seeks in a mate.

Venus sextile Saturn
With this comparative aspect you are likely to value each other for the practical, down-to-earth ways you support each other. The Saturn person may find concrete, practical potentials for the creative urges and/or resources of the Venus person; the Venus person can buoy the Saturn person’s spirits and provide feelings of warmth, while pointing out the beauty in everyday things. Marriages with this comparative aspect have a better chance of being stable and enduring — often because you find ways to make it easier for each other to shoulder the responsibilities you share.

Venus square Neptune
Because Neptune spends so many years in each sign, everyone born within a few years of each other will have Neptune in more or less the same position. This square is therefore more significant as an indication of the Venus person’s response to an entire generation than as indication of one-to-one relationship traits. If the square is within a degree or two or exact, it can show heightened romanticism in a relationship, which may or may not be based on reality. There is the possibility that one or both of you will put the other on a pedestal and will be disappointed if that other turns out to be only human after all. In general you’ll have difficulty seeing each other clearly and will be more likely to be gullible with each other.

Venus sextile Pluto
Because Pluto spends so many years in each sign, everyone born within a few years of each other will have Pluto in more or less the same position. This sextile is therefore more significant as an indicator of the Venus person’s response to an entire generation than as a trait in a one-to-one relationship. If the aspect is within a degree or so of exact, it intensifies emotions and desires. There may be a powerful magnetic attraction between you with feelings of fatedness and possessiveness. There is more than meets the eye between you, if this is a close aspect.

Mars opposite Midheaven
This is more a conjunction of the Midheaven person’s Fourth House cusp- the house ruling home, mother and domesticity – with Mars, rather than a true opposition. With energetic Mars tweaking this area of the chart, you can bet that if you live under the same roof, you are probably going to get a great deal done in and around the home – as a great deal of your energy will be focused there. You may find you have a disproportionate number of disagreements over the relative importance of domestic/emotional versus career issues with this comparative aspect. It may also be difficult to establish a relaxed domestic situation.

Jupiter trine Saturn
With this comparative aspect, you can offer each other balance and get a great deal done together. The Jupiter person lifts the Saturn person’s spirits and provides opportunities for adventure and growth . The Saturn person can help the Jupiter person find useful channels and practical applications for expansiveness and optimism. Together, you can optimistically plan, expand your opportunities, and carefully lay the groundwork that results in greater rewards than either of you might be able to achieve separately.

Jupiter trine Pluto
Because Pluto spends so many years in each sign, this trine is more significant as an indicator of the Jupiter person’s response to an entire generation than as an indication of one-to-one relationship traits. If the aspect is within a degree or so of exact, this can be a profoundly deep relationship that provides you with considerable potentials for growth, both as individuals and as partners.

Jupiter conjunct North Node
You are likely to provide each other with emotional support. The Jupiter person can ease the North Node’s person’s journeys along difficult but necessary paths. You are likely to feel emotional generosity as a result of your interaction with each other, not only toward each other but toward others as well.

Uranus trine Neptune
This is a generational aspect, and is not particularly significant in one-to-one relationships. Members of your respective generations usually hold compatible views on issues of idealism, social reform and humanitarianism.

Uranus square Pluto
This is a generational aspect which has little impact on individual relationships. If the square is within one degree of exact, your relationship may intermittently go through periods of profound turmoil, with each of you fiercely committed, to conflicting or differing goals. Instability in managing joint funds and resources is likely with a very close square.

Part Two — Planets in Houses

This section is concerned with where the planets of one partner fall in the houses of the other, also known as comparative house placement. For instance, if you have 12 degrees Cancer rising (also known as Cancer Ascendant or Cancer on the first house cusp) and your partner has Moon in 15 degrees Cancer, your partner’s Moon falls in your first house. Your experience of your partner’s emotions, family and moods (Moon) will influence how you see yourself (Ascendant). In comparative house placement analysis, the planets generally have a greater impact on the houses than the houses do on the planets. In other words, where your partner’s planets fall in your houses is a better indication of how you experience him or her than vice-versa. And where your planets fall in his or her houses will tell more about how he or she experiences you.

Marilyn Monroe’s Planets Aspecting Joe DiMaggio’s Houses

HOUSE THREE
The third house is involved in communication, basic schooling and training, siblings, neighborhood, community activities and extended family. When another person’s planets fall in your third house, the energies symbolized by those planets will have an impact on the issues of the house. For instance, if a friend’s Venus (the planet of romance, relationship, emotion, art, luxury, among other things) falls in your third house, your emotional response toward this person might be in some way similar to what you would feel toward a sibling, or you might communicate emotionally with one another.

Moon in House 3
There is likely to be a great deal of communication between you about feelings, domestic matters and day-to-day happenings. The Moon person’s emotional responses may have powerful effect on third house person’s ideas; likewise, the third house person’s words can influence the Moon person’s moods and feelings. There is some potential for getting bogged down in talk about trivial matters.

Jupiter in House 3
The Jupiter person can help the third house person expand his or her intellectual, educational and communication horizons, and to add depth to his or her ideas. The third house person can keep the Jupiter person on track with details and organization when the Jupiter person begins to get too expansive or scattered. You tend to be good traveling companions and are likely to enjoy discussions and other forms of communication with each other.

HOUSE FOUR
The fourth house rules the home, real estate, your mother (and your mothering instincts), as well as home, domestic and family situations in general. It is also the house ruling your final resting place. Those whose planets fall in your fourth house will affect you on a deep level, and may arouse your protective and nurturing instincts. If the Sun, Moon, Venus, Jupiter or Ascendant of another falls in your fourth house, you may make good housemates or domestic partners.

Mars in House 4
The Mars person has the potential to stir up or upset the fourth house person’s family or domestic situation and feelings. This is often a difficult placement for those living under the same roof as the Mars person can be selfish or argumentative about shared domestic responsibilites. The placement works best when you’re doing something active regarding home or real estate together.

Uranus in House 4
The Uranus person is likely to have a disruptive effect on the fourth house person’s feelings, domestic situation or family relationships. If you share living quarters, something about the home is likely to be untraditional, eccentric or innovative; or there may be sudden changes of residence. The Uranus person may have an unconventional or unusual relationship with the fourth house person’s mother.

HOUSE FIVE
Some astrologers refer to the fifth as the party house, and it’s an apt description. The fifth house presides over entertainment and fun of all kinds; including romance, gambling, parties, creativity and pleasure in general. It is also the house of children, and may describe certain traits of your first child. When the planets of another fall into your fifth house, the energies of these planets will have an affect on what you do, think and feel about fifth house issues. If someone’s Sun falls into your fifth house, for instance, you may be attracted to that person as a romantic partner or as someone to simply go out and have good times with.

Venus in House 5
This placement is favorable for romantic relationships and is a strong indication of sexual attraction. You are likely to enjoy similar forms of entertainment and to be well matched socially. The Venus person may very possibly appeal to the fifth house person as the answer to his or her desires. If you have children together, you will probably spoil them and/or shower them with somewhat extravagant gifts.

HOUSE SEVEN
The seventh, also known as the Descendant, is the house of marital and other partners. It is exactly opposite the first house, which represents you. As the old saying goes: opposites attract. The seventh is also the first of the houses above the horizon in your chart, and is the beginning of that part of the chart which represents your dealings with the public. When the planets of another person are in this house, the energies of those planets will have an impact on your seventh house issues. For instance, if someone’s Moon is in your seventh, that person’s emotional make-up and nurturing instincts are likely to be in sync with those you would want in a partner.

Sun in House 7
This is the classic yin/yang placement and is a strong indication of a serious partnership, if other chart factors support this. The closer the Sun is to the seventh house cusp, the more likely there will be a mutual attraction and interest. The Sun person brings the seventh house person what he or she lacks and therefore seeks in another . This placement can indicate equality in a relationship if other factors do not contradict it.

Mercury in House 7
There is probably going to be a lot of thought and discussion about the relationship itself with this comparative placement. There may be a tendency to continually analyze the relationship, especially by the Mercury person. The Mercury person’s ideas are likely to influence how the seventh house person sees relationships in general, and this relationship in particular.

HOUSE EIGHT
The eighth house deals with a host of intense and weighty issues: death, obsessions, repression, jealousy, taxes, joint resources, inheritances and other people’s possessions. It also represents what you want or need sexually. When someone else’s planets fall in your eighth house, the energies of those planets will have an impact on how you think, feel and act concerning eighth house issues. If, for instance, your rich old Great-Uncle Harry’s Jupiter falls in your eighth house, he might bequeath you a generous inheritance in his will.

Pluto in House 8
This is Pluto’s natural house and its position here intensifies its effect. This placement can indicate that relationship concerns itself with Plutonian issues including joint resources, sex, death and inheritance, and transformation. There is likely to be a lot brewing beneath the surface with Pluto in this position, and there may be some subtle, unacknowledged power struggles as well.

HOUSE NINE
The ninth house is directly opposite the third in your chart and represents a higher order of some of the issues governed by the third house. Foreign travel or other long trips, higher learning, philosophy, culture, religion, law and book publishing are all matters related to this house. When the planets of another person fall into your ninth house, the energies of those planets can affect how you respond to ninth house issues. For instance, if a friend’s Uranus, the planet of innovation and surprises, falls in your ninth, he or she might introduce you to a new philosophical system or a new way of thinking about situations or events; or he/she might be the perfect traveling companion for an adventurous trip.

Neptune in House 9
This placement can indicate a deeply idealistic relationship, with shared beliefs and mutual spiritual growth . You can gain inspiration and insight from exploring the inner and outer worlds together.

HOUSE TWELVE
This is the house of illusion, where things are not quite what they seem. Secrets, ideals, deception and self-deception, dreams, drugs, chronic illness, institutions and intuition are all matters of the twelfth house. Older astrology texts call this the house of self-undoing, but this is probably too negative a reading in most cases. It is true, though, that it is difficult to get a clear picture of what is going on in this house; so the energies of any planets of another person that fall into your twelfth are likely to be harder for you to understand than those falling in other houses. If, for instance, someone’s Venus falls in your twelfth, you may find it difficult to see that person’s flaws and you may respond to the person as if he or she were your ideal mate, whether or not this is objectively realistic.

Saturn in House 12
You may have a tendency to bring out each other’s fears, pessimism and any psychological problems. This placement sometimes indicates that one of the partners will take on responsibility for the other at some point in life, perhaps due to illness, substance dependency or institutionalization. This generally requires confirmation from other aspects or from major hard transits.

Joe DiMaggio’s Planets in Marilyn Monroe’s Houses

Sun in House 4
This is likely to be a relationship centered around family and home-based activities. The Sun person will feel at home with the fourth house person and the fourth house person tends to enjoy nurturing or otherwise caring for the needs of the Sun person. The fourth house person’s domestic situation, emotions and family relationships may be powerfully affected by Sun person, for better or worse, depending on other chart factors. Often, this placement is an indication of people who live under the same roof, with the Sun person likely to be the dominant partner.

Mercury in House 4
The ideas, plans and communications of the Mercury person can have an impact on the fourth house person’s domestic situation and emotions. There is likely to be a lot of discussion about family and/or feelings in this relationship. The fourth house person is likely to make the Mercury person feel his or her ideas are accepted and cared about. If Mercury makes any major harsh aspects to the fourth house person’s chart, there is some potential for verbal disagreements, gossip or critism about the Mercury person by the fourth house person’s mother or other close family.

Venus in House 4
This placement can be an indication of deep emotional empathy between you. It is very favorable for those who share a home together. The Venus person can have a soothing effect on the fourth house person’s feelings. The fourth house person can make the Venus person feel cared for and at ease. You tend to enjoy home-based activities together and focus on creating a pleasant domestic environment. The Venus person is likely to beautify the fourth house person’s domestic scene.

HOUSE SIX
The morning after the partying of the fifth house, you’ve got to get back down to business, and that’s what the sixth house is about. It rules work, health, service, worries, diet, dress, personal habits and other mundane, but necessary details of life. When someone else’s planets fall into your sixth house, the energies of those planets will affect the way you respond to the above sixth house issues. If, for instance, someone’s Saturn is in your sixth house, he or she might be an authority (Saturn rules authority figures) who you consult about health, such as a doctor; or he or she might be your boss at work.

Uranus in House 6
The Uranus person is likely to have a surprising effect on the sixth house person’s work situation, health habits or dress. The Uranus person may introduce the sixth house person to different attitudes concerning diet, work or fitness.

Jupiter in House 7
Generally, this is an indication of harmony, generosity and tolerance. There is probably a good deal of give-and-take between the two of you and a feeling that you’re each getting as much as you’re giving. You tend to share similar attitudes toward the social order, its mores and values. There is some potential for one or the other of you to overextend himself or herself in an attempt to please or to promise more than you can realistically deliver, especially if Jupiter makes hard aspects to the seventh house person’s planets.

Moon in House 8
Often , this placement indicates a deeply emotional relationship, where much occurs beneath the surface. There is some danger that one or the other of you will use negative emotional tactics — such as jealousy, stonewalling, withholding of information or sex — to attempt to control the relationship. The Moon person’s emotional responses or family can have impact on your joint resources. The eighth house person may have a potent impact on Moon person’s family situation and/or feelings.

HOUSE ELEVEN
Friends, acquaintances, associates, associations, clubs, and virtually any other group you feel a part of are all matters related to the eleventh house. This is also the house governing your hopes, wishes and professional values (personal values are matters of the second house). When someone else’s planets fall here in your chart, the energies of those planets will affect your reactions to eleventh house issues. For instance, if a friend’s Pluto, the planet of power, falls in your eleventh, your association with that person can potentially bring you greater power and control.

Saturn in House 11
The Saturn person can help the eleventh house person to work with discipline and care toward realizing practical goals. The Saturn person can also provide networking opportunities which can further the eleventh house person’s ambitions. There is the possibility that you will both feel part of a larger group that works toward some serious purpose. There is a slight potential that one of you may have entered into this relationship with ulterior motives, but only if other factors, such as major harsh aspects from Saturn to planets in the eleventh house, support this. Hard aspects from Saturn also sometimes indicate that the Saturn person, intentionally or unintentionally, may limit the eleventh house person’s interactions with friends and associates.

Pluto in House 11
The Pluto person can help the eleventh house person focus on achieving his or her hopes and wishes, and may also have a transformative effect on those hopes. Generally, this requires close aspects between Pluto and the eleventh house person’s personal planets in order for these potentials to be fully activated.

Neptune in House 12
You can bring out the best and the worst in each other. On the positive side, you can inspire each other to greater empathy, charitability, spirituality and compassion. On the negative side, there can be victimization, deception, clinging-vine dependency, or aggravation of neurotic tendencies or substance abuse.
